Managed Care
When a patient has complex care needs or their family lives out of town, a Geriatric Care Manager can be an invaluable addition to the care team.
Care Managers can…
- Actively manage caregivers working on the case
- Help families navigate legal, healthcare, and insurance issues
- Assess client’s medical needs and make recommendations
- Help solve housing, transportation, and other issues
- Serve as a medical advocate and knowledge resource
