Employment Requirements and Opportunities
Because our clients pay a Placement Fee when hiring workers through us, an applicant to McDonald Employment must have a minimum of three years experience in his or her particular field, with verifiable work history and references.

Licensing and Certification
Health Care Assistant positions do not necessarily require Washington State Certification or Registration, but a CNA or NAR license is helpful and will make you more placeable. A WA State Driver's License is not required either, but most jobs generally require driving and up-to-date car insurance. If you have questions regarding CNA and NAR applications or requirements, visit the Nursing Commission page or the State of Washington Department of Health website at:

http://www.doh.wa.gov/Nrs_asst/naapplicat.htm

A CNA License may also be obtained by completing a course through the Seattle-area Nursing Assistant Training Institute, at (206) 546-1120, or visit:
